The Cruelest Prank Ever (VIDEO)

What's Your Reaction:

A pilot faked passing out, mid-flight. This is probably be the worst thing you could do to another human being for the sake of comedy. Totally worth it.

WATCH:

Judging by the date of the YouTube video, this may be somewhat old. But as well know, messing with people and convincing them that they're about to plummet to their death never goes out of style. (via Buzzfeed)

So faked it's pitiful. The guy is screaming, patting him on the shoulder, yet able to hold the camera steady to film it.

good point about holding the camera steady.

but it's possible he thought, "maybe if i make it out of this alive, I can have a video of my near death experience."

it's possible. this is the youtube age.

I think if he did that to the wrong person, he might spend some time in prison.

I think that guy knows my old skydiving instructor. He used to show us an old drogue from a parachute and ask us "Is this suppose to come off?". We were sitting in the plane a few minutes before we jumped... A bit unsettling for a first time jump, I'd say.

That's mean.

That's very useful. I imagined it with lots of different ethnic and regional accents, and I thought "dumb _____" with every one. Another vote for fake, who was doing the filming?

Obviously it is from the screaming person. but I thought it was odd that he kept viewing him through the camera, at least, he kept the pilot in the frame quite well. I imagine most people would instinctively disregard the camera when they realized their life was in jeopardy. But what do I know, I may be overthinking it.

One of the things you learn when you become a pilot is that your buddys aren't as fearless as they think they are.

I would never do this to anyone because there is the possibility that the passenger would grab the controls and kill us both.

After a few people turned white during simple maneuvers, I developed a new pre-flight ritual where I said to prospective passengers: "Do not f-ing get into that f-ing airplane unless you are absolutely f-ing sure that you are not going to f-ing freak out on me!"

Years ago, my best friend and his dad took me out and tried a similar thing. They planned to scare the hell out of me, but it didn't quite work out as expected. I near died alright, but from laughter! His dad started out doing some petty intense acrobatics right off the bat. A vertical climb and stall, some loops, barrel rolls, all kinds of stuff. The result was me laughing my head off and then my best friend threw up all over himself and it sort of ruined the whole plan for them, but not me! I loved every minute of it! The only time I felt sort of nauseous was helping my buddy clean up his lunch when we landed. I went flying with them a bunch more after that, but they never tried that trick on me again. It was one of the greatest times I've ever had in my life!

You'd be a fun passenger. Did the pilot ever induce 0 g? That's fun.

Check out YouTube-there is a video where a acrobatic pilot lost his right wing and still landed the plane using the propeller to substitute for the wing-it's absolutely amazing (it may be on the HP, too).
